:: Ti-ama-ti

:: A virtual dance in honor of creation.
TIAMAT was the first goddess from Mesopotamia, the Great Mother of the Sea. The text present in the animation is from the poem ENUMA ELISH, writen by 1600 B. It starts as this: "Mother of all mothers, She who gave birth to all." The animation is not na illustration of the poem, it is an intersemiotic interpretation of the legend accomplished by using a paradigmatic association: the eternal dance between men and women in the begining of the world created from the dead body of Tiamat.
Music by: Anselmo Guerra

:: My art work is abstract, influenced by myths. The love for light and dematerialization have been nurturing my creativity.
