Anna Barros is a post-graduated
teacher at Universidade São Marcos in São Paulo,
and a multimedia artist, researcher, author. For the last ten
years, her main work has been 3D computer animations and VRML
animations, shown in Brazil and abroad. Her work The Wanderer,
2000-2001, a genetic algorithms generated text, with the art
group SDVila was nominated for the Premio Sergio Motta, Brasil,

She holds a Bachelor in Fine Arts from the Otis Art Institute
of Parsons School of Design, Los Angeles, Ca., MFA from The
University of São Paulo-USP and a PhD in Comunication
and Semiotics from the Pontificia Catholic University São
Paulo- PUCSP. Former president of the National Association for
Art Research- ANPAP(1997 to 1998). Professor at the Graduate
Program in Administration, Education and Communication at the
University of São Marcos, São Paulo.

Saci-si , 1998-2001 was exhibited at The National Museum of
Women in the Arts, Washington, D.C. 2001 at the show Virgin
Territory.
